Private Pay Visitation Monitoring and Exchange

Casa de Amparo is on the Superior Court of San Diego list of Visitation Monitors

Casa de Amparo helps families during times of transition by promoting healthy contact and interactions between children and family members in a supervised setting.  Our goal is to promote the wellbeing of the child/children and family by providing supervised visitation designed to build or maintain strong secure family bonds. 

About Casa de Amparo
Casa de Amparo has served  children and families affected by or at-risk of children abuse or neglect since 1978. We provide a range of programs and services that promote healing, growth and healthy relationships.

Private Pay Visitation Monitoring and Exchange are services offered by our Family Services Center, serving children ages birth through 17 and their families.

Services

  • We offer professional on-site visitation monitoring that maintains the safety of the child in a nurturing atmosphere that promotes positive interaction and the building/rebuilding of family relationships.
  • We provide parents with educational intervention to increase their child development knowledge and enhance parenting skills.
  • We provide exchange services with a Visitation Monitor who facilitates the transfer of children from one parent to the other parent or to the party with child custody.
  • We provide transportation services when needed (at additional cost).

A Homelike Atmosphere

  • Located in Oceanside at the Family Services and Hayward Child Development Center
  • Cozy, homelike family room and kitchen
  • Spacious playground and picnic area
  • Plenty of toys, books and games for infants through teens

Fees
Fees are nominal. An orientation with parents and/ or other family members involved in the care of the child or children will be arranged prior to the initial visit. See “Getting Started” below.

  • Please provide copies of your Visitation Order and, if applicable, Restraining Order via fax or walk-in

Hours of Operation
Seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., as needed, by appointment only
