The Children's Shelter
Casa de Amparo provides residentially based services, in a safe and nurturing setting, for children who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse or neglect. During their stay at the Children's Shelter, each child receives comprehensive care to address their individual physical, social, emotional, developmental and educational needs while also ensuring that they have as many normal childhood experiences as possible. By treating each child with dignity and respect, we are able to nurture the incredible potential that exists within all children.

The Children's Shelter provides long term, short term and emergency residential care to children 6-17 years of age. The Children's Shelter also accepts ambulatory children with special health care needs.
