Employee Benefits
Full-time employees are defined as working 30 or more hours per week on a regularly scheduled basis.

Health Insurance:

The 1st of the month following sixty (60) days of employment, employees are eligible for:

  • Medical Insurance -Anthem HMO/PPO
  • Dental Insurance -Anthem HMO/PPO
  • Vision Insurance -Anthem
  • Optional Supplemental Insurances -Colonial
  • Long Term Disability
  • Employee Assistance Program -Anthem
  • Life Insurance of $25,000 -Anthem

Casa de Amparo pays the majority of the monthly premium for full-time employees’ HMO benefits. Coverage for dependents is available for an extra cost to the employee. PPO coverage is also available for an extra cost. Life insurance and vision insurance are provided at no cost to full-time employees.

Retirement Plan:

All employees, regardless of hours worked, are eligible to enroll in the Casa de Amparo tax deferred annuity plan, 403 (b).

Holidays:

Full-time employees receive eight (8) hours of pay for the following holidays. Program employees may receive alternate days off if scheduled to work on a holiday.

Floating Holidays:

On July 1st – full time employees receive 3-(8) hour floating holidays if employed 90 days prior to July 1st.

Birthday Holiday:

Following one (1) year of employment, full time employees receive their birthday off with full pay.

Vacation:

Paid vacation begins accruing immediately and may be used after 90 days of full-time employment.

Sick Time:
