Gerry Gonzalez

Director of Facilities

As Facilities Director at Casa de Amparo, Gerry assumes the responsibility of ensuring the maintenance and safety of the organization’s buildings and grounds. He oversees his team to perform repairs and upkeep; landscaping; participant move-ins; automobile fleet upkeep; the relocation of donations, furniture and equipment as well as the overall upkeep of grounds and other maintenance duties.

With a wealth of experience spanning 14 years in maintenance and construction, Gerry has dedicated eight years to Casa de Amparo. He began his tenure at Casa de Amparo as a Maintenance Technician before moving into the role of Maintenance Supervisor.

Gerry is an Escondido native. He likes playing sports and manages a softball team that includes Casa de Amparo staff. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
