Scott Kramer

Chief Financial Officer

Scott Kramer is an accomplished financial executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across a broad spectrum of industries and organizational sizes. As Chief Financial Officer at Casa de Amparo, Scott brings deep financial expertise, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to community service to help advance the organization’s mission of supporting children and families affected by abuse and neglect. 

 

Before joining Casa de Amparo, Scott served at CALI Floors in Encinitas, CA, a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of innovative flooring products.  In this role, he helped drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and integration efforts for the rapidly growing business.  He previously served in financial and executive leadership roles in several consumer products and life science companies. 

 

Scott’s extensive private sector background includes work in public and private entities of all sizes, where he consistently partnered with boards and senior executives to deliver on growth and profitability goals. His expertise spans strategic planning & capital investment, budgeting and forecasting, investments, fund accounting/GAAP, IT system implementation, audits, and mergers & acquisitions. 

 

Beyond the boardroom, Scott has demonstrated a deep and ongoing commitment to service. He has volunteered extensively and held leadership roles—including Board Member and Treasurer—for numerous nonprofit organizations focused on supporting at-risk communities. This experience has provided him with firsthand insight into fund accounting and nonprofit compliance, which he now applies in his current role. 

 

Scott is passionate about fostering the personal and professional development of those around him. His transition to the nonprofit world reflects a desire to align his professional talents with his values, channeling his financial acumen into work that creates lasting social impact.
